New section: Education — 11 guides and a glossary

Platform ·

11 plain-language guides to market mechanics — from tracking whales and cross-chain swaps to perps and portfolio allocation — plus a glossary and calculators.

The dashboard has a new Education section with 11 guides across four topics. On-chain and whales: how to follow large players' wallets for free and read their portfolios. Cross-chain swaps and bridges: how swaps work, how they differ from bridges, and which routes move, say, ETH to Solana. Market mechanics: how perp DEXs work. Portfolio management: allocation and regular buying.

Each guide is a collapsible card with a short summary. The On-chain and whales topic has three guides: how to track wallets for free, what to use instead of DeBank, and how to read a whale's portfolio. Cross-chain swaps and bridges has five: how swaps work, how a swap differs from a bridge, three routes from ETH to Solana, swapping Monero safely, and a comparison of BTC to XMR routes. Market mechanics covers how perp DEXs work. Portfolio management covers allocation and DCA.

The learning path: seven steps from a single wallet to testing yourself on the live market
The learning path: seven steps from a single wallet to testing yourself on the live market

The easiest way in is the seven-step learning path: from one wallet to a portfolio, from tools to moving money between chains, leverage, and markets beyond crypto. Where a topic leads to a platform section — Momentum & funding, TradFi or Daily Feed — the path links to it. At the bottom are a glossary of key terms (funding, open interest, liquidation, MVRV, TVL and more) and answers to common questions.

The path goes in order: read a single wallet, understand what a portfolio says, pick your tool stack, learn how money moves between chains, price your leverage, go beyond crypto, and test yourself on the live market. The last step asks you to open the current Daily Feed and explain why the market is where it is.

The perp DEX guide starts with a definition: a perpetual future has no expiry date, and funding is a periodic payment between longs and shorts that keeps its price close to spot. The same ideas show up in the platform's data, in Momentum & funding and Liquidations. The guide explains mechanics and is not a trading recommendation; leveraged trading carries a risk of losing money.

The glossary has eight terms: MVRV, SOPR, funding rate, open interest, TVL, FDV, liquidation and slippage, each defined in a line or two. The FAQ has three questions: how to track whale wallets for free, what to use instead of DeBank, and which is safer, a swap or a bridge.

The portfolio guides have calculators built in. The first splits an amount across coins by conviction, with a cap and a floor on each share, and builds a profit-taking ladder on each doubling of the price. The second works out regular buying (DCA) from a list of prices: the amount invested, the average price and the result. The section is open even without account activation.

The allocation calculator takes the account size, a cap and a floor for each share, the entry price and the percentage sold at each doubling. Positions below the floor are marked as dropped, a share above the cap is cut back, and if every share hits the cap the remainder is shown as cash. The DCA calculator takes the amount per purchase, a list of prices and the current price, and shows purchases, amount invested, units bought, average price, value now and the change in percent.

Both calculators only do arithmetic on the numbers you enter. They do not forecast prices or advise: the DCA result applies only to the prices you typed, and the default values are a hypothetical example. The guides name outside services, such as Arkham, DeBank and Etherscan; check what they offer on their own sites. The material is not investment advice.
